Before spring training I brought you the current 2010 MLB World Series futures lines. Well, now that the 2010 baseball betting season is about to get going, I see we've had some significant movement around the league. Sure, some times like the Arizona D-backs are still the same. But others, like the Seattle Mariners, have dropped significantly. It's all about value and timing, so here are you latest MLB World Series futures betting lines from [ BET US ] (btw, you can also bet on the league that will win and if the Yankees will repeat!):

I kind of like throwing down something on the MVP futures, because it gives me a player to cheer on all season long. With MLB betting about to start, it's time to get those futures down. It should come as not shock that Albert Pujols is the NL MVP favorite early on. The betting line is at 1/1. You can get a slightly better deal over in American League. The AL MVP leading the way is Evan Longoria at 3/2. After last season, I'm leaning toward A-Rod @ 7/2. Here's the complete 2010 MLB MVP betting lines from [ BET US ]:

Having looked around at various MLB World Series futures for this upcoming MLB season, I decided to post them for you. I'd shop around a little bit, but here's what you can expect. If you're a futures player, there are some good values out there.

For me, the Seattle Mariners look like an interesting play. Granted, I'm a fan. However, given their explosive changes this offseason and the Angels' changes, they could very well win the West. They had a respectable record last year and they could very well win 90-95 games this year, putting them in the playoffs. If nothing else, that huge number gives me a tasty hedge opportunity.

Hunting down MLB odds can be a pain in the butt. There are so many sports betting sites that claim to offer MLB odds, but don't or they offer limited MLB Odds.

Today, I wanted to share with you a couple well-known places to get your MLB odds. These are all direct links, so you won't have to wade through tons of sports betting information to get to them.

First up is Vegas Insider. I like their MLB odds page, because it's fairly clean. Their page shows MLB odds for Las Vegas sportsbooks, such as the LV Hilton, MGM Mirage, Wynn and Caesars, and online sportsbooks, such as Sportsbook.com and Bodog.com.

In today's MLB Error Report, we see that the worst team in the MLB, the Washington Nationals, leads all teams. They are committing almost one error per game (.93 avg). Over 28 games, they've committed 26 errors. The Texas Rangers are running a close 2nd.

The three best MLB teams, which are all under the .50 ratio mark, are: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies and the New York Mets.

Perhaps most surprising is that the Boston Red Sox are 4th in the MLB for committing errors.

The Cleveland Indians remain the best team in the MLB to bet on and they've increased by around 25.5% since our last MLB Money Rankings report. The Pittsburgh Pirates have dropped out of the top 5 and the LA Dodgers have taken taken their place.

The Yankees are quickly becoming one of the most over-hyped teams in baseball. Since 2000, what have the New York Yankees done—besides blow almost-guaranteed series victories?

The Yankees have been to the World Series twice since 2000 and they've lost both times. In 2001, they lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks and in 2003 the Florida Marlins beat them.

It seems that 2004 was a pivotal season for the New York Yankees. The Boston Red Sox came back—somehow—from death's door to beat the Yankees in the playoffs. The Red Sox went on to win the 2004 World Series.
