2008 World Series Odds - SportsBettingBaseball.com

Think you know who will be the next AL/NL MVP or Cy Young winner? Put your money where your mouth is. The BetUs.com just sent me their updated baseball betting info for AL Cy Young, NL Cy Young, AL MVP and NL MVP. If the Yankees decide to win something this millennium, will A-Rod score the AL MVP award? He’s listed at 13-2.

If you don’t like any of the players listed, you can also bet on the field, which normally yields about a 5-1 or better return.

Here are the lasted baseball betting odds:

2008 World Series Odds - SportsBettingBaseball.com

About a week ago I posted some World Series futures. There’s been a little movement since last week. Reed over at BetUs.com sent me their 2008 World Series futures list, so I’m going to post it today.

Surprisingly the Tampa Bay Devil Rays are holding at 8-1 despite their 7-game losing streak and their fall from first place in the AL East.

Here are the 2008 World Series betting futures from BetUs.com as of today:

2008 World Series Odds - SportsBettingBaseball.com

We’re right in the middle of the season and soon we’ll be neck-deep in the playoff hunt. There’s still time to get in on World Series action. It’s no surprise that the Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox and LA Angels have low odds.

What is a surprise is the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. They opened around 150-1 and are now sporting an 8-1 payout. That’s some drop. Still, I say it’s money lost if one were to bet on them.

Here are the latest 2008 World Series odds as of this week:

tampa bay rays - SportsBettingBaseball.com

The Tampa Bay Rays are somehow two games up on the Red Sox in the American League East. And there’s been 90 games played. With 72 games left, are the wheels about to come off?

Surprisingly, many think they have a real shot at the playoffs. I’m not one of those people.

It’s a great story, but they’ve got the Red Sox and Yankees within striking distance—two teams with late season “pressure” experience. Also, the Twins and A’s are close behind for the wild card should the Rays slip.
